Day 5 - Out of Order Day

Today was a fantastic task! The assignment was to put an "out of order" sign....anywhere.

My place of choice? The men's bathroom at my work. As quick as I could I hung my little sign (written with a red pen on a blank sheet of white paper) and grabbed my phone to take a picture. Only, I had no idea that the camera on my phone is somehow broken!! So I popped into the women's bathroom right next door to try to figure out what was going on with my phone. All the while, I'm hearing footsteps in and out of the little hallway into the bathroom area and then footsteps turning around.

Luckily I was alone in the women's bathroom because I couldn't contain my laughter. Unfortunately I could not figure out what was going on with my phone so I finally went back to my desk.

One hour later it was time to head out and I after a lot of consideration, I decided to take the sign down on the way out. We have all kinds of cameras in our building and I could only imagine them going through security tapes or something and seeing me carrying the sign.

So as I was walking to the bathroom, there was a guy walking just a few feet in front of me. Sure enough, he opens the door to the hallway, stops, and turns around and practically runs right in to me saying "excuse me." I popped into the bathroom and once again giggled out loud to myself.

I did take the sign down and throw it in the trash.

Possibly it could have been more exciting, but I'm still new at this. I'll get better.
